Default 91 accord intermittently starts with starter fluid

It intermittently starts and when it does it runs rough for a few seconds then it even out just fine. When it doesnt start, i apply starter fluid in the intake and it starts right up. New main relay, new battey, clean tight terminals, new distributor cap and rotor button its getting fuel pressure and the engine coolant temp sensor is fine ohm check is good. When attempting to start i get R, R, R, until starter fluid is applied. IM STUMPED!

Had the same problem. Fixed it by replacing the o-ring gasket under the distributor cap.

You'll have to call around to find one. There was only one available in the entire city of Cincinnati when I needed it. Good luck!
