need the complete wiring diagram for the front clip...i have a good engine harness.....am getting cel 23 (knock sensor) already checked the engine harness...now need to check the rest of the wires from the fuse box(next to battery) to headlights,fan, etc.it splits to both sides.... its underdash harness im thinking......thanks...

 

Might help to list your engine, ecu and current wire harness because 93 si's don't come with them. The knock sensor on vehicles that have them run from the sensor directly to the ecu via the engine harness not any fuse box or under dash interior harness. Most people who use DOHC VTEC engines add the knock connector and wiring to their current engine harness.

 

so i traced the knock sensor wire(red) from driver tower clip....around the whole interior of car from left door to right door along the firewall....both wires have contenuity(red)(yellow/blk) .... 93 civic si 16a2, p30 Obd1......using stock harness...." has to have a knock sensor for the d16z6 right....or it wouldnt have vtec...So my harness should be a plug and play.....FKN KNOCK SENSOR BS!!! already check my engine harness like 5 times every time i got a better more organized tucked harness....What else could trigger the knock sensor?......PLZ HELP.....thanks again!!!

 

You have to wire the knock sensor up from the engine block to the ecu

 

it is wired up from block to ecu.....only turns on when i cruise for a bit/hit v-tec
