Default Parada Tires??

Anybody got advice on these? I've been running Dunlop SP8000's and have been very satisfied. Got a nail in one though and took it to get it repaired. The shop ruined the tire taking it off the rim (TE37's) and they're GIVING ME a Parada (the price is right on it for sure). My problem is that within the next 10K miles I'll need to replace the other tires and I might as well get them to put a FREE "whatever I'm willing to buy 3 of later" tire. And I can't find a plain ol PARADA tire on the website for Yokahoma. They've got PARADA SPEC 2. What's the difference? Thanks for the help.

SPec 2 is the newer model. But overall the tires are no where near as good as the SP8000. HAve them replace it with the Yok, ES100 that is closer perforomance wise.

The parada 2 has a different compound that increases grip and wet traction i believe. The newer model parada is a pretty decent tire from what i hear.

If you're looking at 16" paradas get yoko A520's (if they still make them).

I have the A520's... wonderful tire. 205 x 45 r 16.

Treadwear rating sucks at a lofty 180 though...

If they'd put on a NITTO 555 would that be a better choice?

Worst tire ever! Can't stand all Nitto's product line.
Stick with Yoko or Bridgestone.
