the salt is to much to bear
Ok so I bought my car from a guy thag owned it forever and came from boston, so naturally you have snow, harsh weather and that fn road salt. The cars perfect minus the engine bay it just has salt build up everywhere on the block. Using salt away I got most of it off minus the extremely tough build up spots. So I wanna paint my block and head like we do onnour muscle cars so I got the heat resistant paint up to 500 degrees. Question I had is, what color should i paint the block and head, and could I spray the exhaust header too?
Seriously...Duplicolor's Bright Green looks great. It is like Monster Green (I hate those stupid drinks)
What color is your car? Just spray the engine to match or to compliment it, but aluminum or silver will look nice no matter what.

My vote goes to silver.
Black is a no no as you won't be able to see oil leaks.
If you paint the header, just make sure you get the extreme high heat stuff. I painted a DC ceramic header black with the 1500°F paint and it held up just fine.
