new here
Hey all I'm new to this site but not new to honda civic's. I have been a fan of the honda family for over a decade. I currently do not own anything honda right now. I've owned 4 civic's in the passed my first 2 where 1991 hatches and the last 2 where 1992 coupes. I think the hatches are better looking no matter what year. My son (18) and I are planning a build in the very near future. Somthing with a B series. I'm leaning towards an integra and he's going after a civic 1992-2000. Thanks and I love this site by the way!!
94-01 Integra will make you life easier because it already has the engine series you want. The older ones have them too, but some where B17's and others were D-series ZC motors.
You can get the civic to make you son happy, and swap a B-series in since they are a drop in replacement.
So you can start with and integra and go from there or get a civic with a d-series and drop another $2500+ to swap in a B-series.
Up to you...why not just get an RSX or 02-newer civic with a K-series engine? There is more power and fun to be had there

That's kinda what I was thinking in regards to the 94-01 integra and just do a head swap. For insurance reasons I think the civic might be a good way to go for my son and I know a little bit about them to boot. Mechanically I always found the civics easy to work on and the cost of oem parts are fairly cheap. RSX eh?? I do like the style and of the motor in them.
