Need some input if anyone has ever had this problem. Car is a 1999 civic ex coupe. All my lights flicker when this problem happens and its intermittent. itll happen for a few weeks the stop for some time then comes back. all lights on the car/dash flicker, srs light comes on and goes off, and the speakers go out and come on. i have checked all the grounds in the entire car and also tested the alternator and it tested good. any input on what else it could be?

 

Yes i actually had the exact same problem, my alt was testing good also but i went and bought a new one and it completely fixed it hasen't done it in over 4-5 months now.

 

did it also effect your idle and everything else?

 

Yes Everything was going CRAZY i had no idea what to start with but i did the same run down you did. Chk grounds chk all my voltages and then chked my alt but all was good, bought new one and everything was fine evern til this day hope it fixes your problem :D
