having trouble with my wifes 97 crv. put the key in the ignition and it doesnt want to turn, will after you wiggle it around abit and hit the steering wheel lock from side to side. anyone know what causes this and whether or not i can fix it without having to replace the whole thing.

 

the problem is in the key portion of the lock and a locksmith should be able to redo the wafers back to new for you.
