Default Cabin filter 98 dx

So I've always had leaves a debris blown into my face when ever I turned on my fans, then I read my particular year did not come with a filter, i read up the how to's on the forum ordered the parts and began my work... Now I'm looking at this... There seems to be no area for the filter... What do?

You have to swap that out for the piece of ductwork containing the filter slot. Basically you have to have an AC shop recover the refrigerant if its still charged and then you have to remove the current evaporator and swap in one with a filter housing. Then you have to draw a vacuum on your AC (If you still want it) and then charge it.
