what year? 90-91 is a bit of a bitch wiring for a obd-1 engine. B18C5 would be the most power though

i know it's not an engine swap, but building your B18B, and turboing it would yield some nice results

Yeah y not Ls/vtec if u dont want to take the risk get a gsr b18c or a b16 is ur low on cash!!!

B20 is the simplest direct swap. Good motor to turbo as well. Low compression + boost = lots of fun!! LS/VTEC's CAN be built reliably and can supply a lot of power IF done right.

u dont want the ls vtec cus u cant put alot of boost on the ls block in my opinion. i think the best swop would be the b20b block wit the v-tec head

umm buddy i think ure mistaken u can put alot of boost on a ls block, one guy runs about 20 psi and is makin around 290 hp and another runs 12 and makes 270 (diff size turbos) ls sleeves arnt bad for boost, its the b20 block that sucks with boost the sleeves crack even with good tuning
