it's a purge valve for the EVAP system. the EVAP system takes gasoline vapors from your gas tank, stores them in a charcoal canister, and lets the engine burn the vapors

It's part #7, unhook the two vacuum lines, pull the electrical connector off, and remove it from the bracket on the upper intake manifold.

Make sure the electrical wiring and vacuum hoses are not deteriorated or damaged, othwerwise the switch won't work.
