is a HX rackNpinion same as a EX?

i need to replace my rackNpinion. i have a 96 civic ex and there is a guy who is parting out 98 HX. are the rackNpinion the same thing? he told me it is power steering which mine does has. will this work?

vibrates once it hits 35mph. the boot is ripped and leaking
