Transmission control solenoid
How do u check if the transmission control solenoids are bad? It feels like my transmission is slipping and/or shifting hard in certain gears. I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX.

It is just two terminals, so attach jumper wires from the + and - from your battery and you will hear them click. If they do not click sharply, you have a problem.

It is actually better to test them off the tranny. Clean them out good with some brake cleaner, then test. Make sure you also clean the screens good in the gaskets/orings.
