I would love to trade for a b20z, but sadly im going legit and i plan on going to get my car ref'd/bar'd. Thanks for the offer though im only looking for 94-95 b16a2/3 or b18c1 offers.
just convert your obd2 motor back to obd1 with a obd1 intake manifold and your done.ref will bar it as a b16 94-95.
i used a 98 b18b in my eg to get ref'd and all i had to do was convert it to obd1 with the obd1 intake manifold and passed without a hiccup.

so they didn't run the numbers on the engine? just curious because i want to convert it back to od1 just didn't think it'd get past the visual.
They did. Find another ref station. You can convert the motor back to obd1 only difference from obd2 is in the intake manifold and throttle body.
You can convert motors back to obd1 if its a newer motor you just can't use a older motor in a newer car. It's a loop hole.
He will tell you to convert it to b16a3 specs and will ref you as a b16a3 even though its a newer motor.
