what is wet sanding/ sanding for?
when you want to paint the entire car. why do people color coat and then sand? or color coat, clear coat and then sand?
what does this do?? is it just for some uneven sprays or something?

Wetsanding or cutting it is called gets out any imperfections of the paint, runs, dirt, orange peel etc etc. You cannot just wetsand or cut a car though, after you wetsand it you need to buff it out. A good painter will spray a good paint job, a good cut and buffer will make that paint job perfect.

so if theres no imperfection after your first 3 color coats no need for sanding?
i thought when you sand it or something it makes the paint smoother looking.. or like sticks better...idk.
There will always been some form of imperfections. Cut and buffing will make the paint as smooth as possible. Typically you wetsand with 1500-2000 grit sandpaper.
