Replacement parts
Has anyone ever heard of Parts Channel? Or anyone tried them for fenders, bumpers and a hood? A buddy of mine recommended them but I'm skeptical.
What would you guys prefer for replacement bumpers, hoods and fenders?

I deal with them all the time where I live. there great to deal with mostly do body shops but they have a retail sales department as well.
basicly if your car goes to a body shop on the west coast 90% of the replacment parts going on your car are coming from Parts Channel.

That said, check your state laws, as at least in FL (may be federal??) you have a right to demand 100% OEM parts for collision repair. I don't know if this would contribute to totaling out the car (higher parts cost), but in some places at least, this is an option.
But, not knowing why you need the parts (but sounds like accident)...
My car just has some messed up fenders, fenders rolled like crap, has a big ding on the side then bondo-ed on and they're overall just a mess. The hood is just in bad shape, really bent like if someone sat on it and has a lot of dings, and my front bumper is just cracked like if someone took a dip too fast and it hit. No collision to my knowledge, but I was looking to replace the parts. I'd prefer OEM but I was wondering what some differences would be if I get Parts Channel things. I'm on a bit of a budget but I also don't want my car looking garbage. I've heard good things of Parts Channel but I wanted to get the opinion from the guys who know their honda stuff.I could get both fenders and front bumper from them for about $100.
So far sounds like the next best thing to OEM?

It is and the nice thing is all the parts come ready for paint. there Primered black on the metal parts and the plastics very in color but are just as ready for paint.
if you do get new parts from PC i suggest painting them off the car that way you can paint both side and no one will know there replacement parts.
i hate looking at a car and seeing primer on the inner fender well and door jams.

Deff oem. I have messed with a few companies that sold oem "like" parts but they never seem to fit or line up just right. A few months back when I had my car in the shop they were going to order me an oem fender and bumper but the price was high s I called the local honda dealer and they overnighted the parts for free and they were cheaper.

Tight budget. Need inexpensive parts for now. I plan on returning later with a much higher budget and completely redoing my car along with a motor and tranny swap. That's off topic of this thread though. I'm just asking for people's opinions/experience on those 2 company's.
