Damn,
a friend of mine (experienced road racer) had been in Spa last months... These days I saw his onboard video tape..
It was insane how this guy drives his ITR. He drove 3,02 the first lap, getting better to 2,50/lap.
I saw him overtaking a supercharged dutch NSX in a curve at a speed of 210 km/h... GREAT handling, perfect suspension.
Is there anyone out who was there too ?? Maybe some euro-members ?
BTW,
this fast ITR racecar is for sale.

So, a "racecar" ITR beat a s/c-ed NSX. Shouldn't a racecar beat non-race cars? I just don't know all the details, that's why I am asking. I'm sure "race" S/C-ed NSX would take out a "race" ITR without a problem.

For me, it`s impressive how a 210hp ITR could kick in the *** of a higly modified 200k Euro NSX. It`s all the driver and the concept of this car.
It's very rare to see a NSX driver that will push their car to 9/10s or 10/10s. It's too scary for most people. I bet you the ITR driver was very good and aggressive as well - the NSX driver was likely using the straightaways to make good time and taking it easy on the corners.
NSXs are rather expensive to fix last time I checked.

This makes me think those guys risk a lot. On the Ring you can get your car crashed in every curve... But well. Good point, you may be right and the NSX driver took it a little more slow. But that`s not the sense of running a professional race with the permit to run slicks and the need for a long list of safety-parts.
I`ve found some pics from August:
The red one is the sc, I think
