Default alternator problem?

Everytime i use the power window switch, my rpm goes down, is it normal or my alternator is somehow causing it? I jumped start my car 4 times now since i bought it 2 months ago, i know i have to buy a new battery but since im a full time student, cant get enough budget for it, and now im thinking of a parasitic drain that runs continiously using the battery even if my ignition is off and the key not in. I am goin to check for that parasitic battery draw as soon as i finish my mid term exam. And will be asking more in one topic next week. Thank you!

It sounds like your alternator is dead, all the battery does is start your car and take a charge. If its not getting the charge then it has to pick up the Alt's slack(vehicle's electrical loads). You could also have a parasitic drain or a voltage drop somewhere.. Both are easy to test for and if you have any test questions let me know...

Alright, thanks. Just wanna make sure its the alternator, i can still run it and start but its draining the battery, its been a day since i jump start the car and i can feel the battery loosing its power everytime i start the engine. Thank you! I will definitely be sending you messages of my links when i post here on this forum.

Isnt this all part of the big problem with the battery and the slew of other things you posted about?
Didnt we touch on the alternator already in the other posts?

I know money is tight with you right now but...
Its time to start doing something about the car instead of finding another symptom of a dead battery and bad altenator.
