Aside from appearance, what benefit do window visors provide? Less wind noise when driving? Ability to smoke a cig while driving in the rain?
Never quite understood their purpose, but I see a lot of cars with them...what do you guys say?

They serve a really good purpose actually... you can crack the window to get fresh air when its raining out, but deflect the rain from entering the car

 

It's very minor. Mostly appearance though. You can leave the window cracked for some air and not worry about rain getting into your car when you're parked in a lot. (Some people may not recommend this) Smoking, yeah I guess. You said most of it.
It does what it does.

Unless you get some huge window visors, you'll get even more ideas, lol.

another good thing is when its raining and you have no AC, they let in fresh air so the windows dont fog up. When its already 95 degrees, turning on the heat just sucks when your on the highway.

When you roll down your window all the way, you and your buddies sitting in the back seat won't get a huge blast of wind to the face.

 

Window Visors also reduce wind noise so you don't have to deal with heavy wind blowing to your ears all the time.

 

looks & raining for sure. Dont cheap out, I used to have cheap ones install and the color lighten up over the time and turned ugly.

 

Like stated above they help out a lot if you don't have ac and don't want to fog up in the rain. just roll down the windows a little.

 

Dunno about you guys, but mine get me laid ALL the time.

 

A definite must have for here in the Northwest. Having to roll down your window when you want to order some food and getting soaked suck nuts. They do look cool too!

 

DUH!!!

After you get laid (in the car of course), they work well when smoking a cig if it is raining out. I had visors along with the optional ashtray. Perfect combo for a smoker.
