Default Having issues with del sol sway bar.

I recently purchased a used sway bar that came off a del sol and I want to install it on my 95 SI hatch. The seller forgot to bring the bolts that mount the bracket to the subframe and I went online to find the part number and went to a local honda dealer to find it. I got the bolts but they were too small. Here's the bolt I chose. It is #44 on the Parts list and it's part number 95701-08018-08 BOLT/ 8X18. Did I choose the wrong part for the bracket/subframe? Here are the images below.

Your holes don't look pre-threaded from the factory. You're going to have to get creative with nuts and bolts to bolt it to the car.

I think you may be right, I looked close up at the holes in the subframe and it's really thin to have threads on it. Do you think it's safe to use nuts for this setup?

In this case where there is no provisions to mount it to the subframe you will have to create your own. drilling holes etc.
I recommend also getting a subframe brace as well.

Combination of a beaks subframe reinforcment kit and a subframe brace will do just fine.

Subframe brace, find one in your budget and run with it.
You dont want that beast cracking.

Hmm...from the forums I read here, I don't think there is a need to put on a brace, especially when it's the 13mm sway bar from the del sol. I also heard the 14mm one from the Integra LS doesn't need one as well. Let me take another picture and circle the holes to confirm that I'm suppose to have the bracket bolted on to them. I guess I'll find a creative way to have the bracket installed safely.

Nuts and bolts. That's how I installed my SI bar on my DX.

I did have to drill the mount out slightly to fit the new bolt which was 10mm.

I used 4 10mm bolts, and 4 10 mm lock nuts. However it may be different for you, bolt size wise. The method should work.

Well the ones that are currently on my car won't work. But the sway bar I purchased came with control arms still attached to each end so I intend to swap out my control arms at the same time.

Do you think it will be safe if I used the stock bolt that they used on the del sol with 8mm lock nuts?
