Was wondering if I should take my 89 civic hatch to a body shop or just replace the fender/light/filler myself. Any advice would be appreciated. Located in the SGV.

yea, replace it yourself, get a new fender and light, maybe a bumper, it'll save you LOTS of money

I just had my fender replaced after I got in an accident and my fender got smashed in. I took it to a paint shop and they ordered me a new fender and painted it and it looks great. I suggest doing that, the paint should be relatively close to matching since your car is white and white fade isn't as noticeable as other colors, so it should look good.

Was at PicknPull on Sat. and we have two 89 Civics, on is a white HB, except for the rear wheel arch rust, [very little] the rest of the car is in very good shape, not even sure why it is on the lot.

The engine/transmission was already gone and a guy was pulling the almost new looking interiour but fenders, hood, head/park/signal lights and front clip where still there and in good shape.

It's the San Gabriel Valley in California...how much would the fender, fender holder, and bumper filler go for

So sad, there are more PicknPulls in California then any other place almost as many as the rest of the US and Canada combined, but all are north of you, most of them around the Oakland area, I am guessing Fresno is the closest to you, and there are 22 Civics there, 2 of them 89s.
