Clutch got really loose in my em1
i got in a started the car this morning, started up just fine didnt notice anything, put it in reverse started to back up then bammm i stalled my car for the first time in forever so i was like well haha. started it up and notice the clutch let out about 20 times closer to the firewall. it was almost like a nascar. and so i let the clutch out and push on it again but right as i mad contact you can feel that it is super loose then when it engages it gets kinda stiff. know idea what started this. and no i actually wasnt racing lol. but yeah im clueless on what it could be

Check fluid level. If leaking, check for leaks inside the car where the pedal goes into the cylinder. If nothing is there, I would imagine that your slave cylinder is shot and needs to be replaced. It is only $15 part at a local store and can be wapped within 15 minutes.
Why wasn't there fluid in the first place? Could be due to a leak. don't ignore it, but do keep an extra bottle of dot 3 brake fluid in your car just in case. If it happens again, or if you notice signs of leaks at your clutch pedal like this, then repair it.
