Default Seafoam a turbo car than bag on it?

Hey Iv been reading a lot of reviews on sea foaming a car people say that you need to dump the fluid into the intake manifold and than you basically rev it up and it cleans the engine out? anyone ever done this? thoughts on the process?

I found this video online, looks like the car is about to blow up...

I hear that seafoam and gunk chemicals are to strong for Honda motors. Well that is what my mechanic told me. I believe Honda sales an oil cleaner solvent of some sort at the dealer

Ive used it on a few cars with some success, i felt they drove a little smoother afterwars...
97 civic b16a
02 2.4t s60
04 lancer

All of the cars smoked really bad....all the smoke is, is the seafoam liquid getting burned off.

I did it to my 93 civic b16b and there was still smoke long after the seafoam was gone. Still to this day (4 months later) smokes in vtec.

yes. i wasnt revving it like the jackass in the video but a few short revs at a time. then take it out for a 30 minute drive to let the rest dissipate.

Complete waste of time and money, just take the damn manifold off and clean it.

sea foam has worked wonders for me. I have done multiple hondas and subarus. I went from 450-500kms/tank in my 99 ex coupe to 700+ kms/tank. carbon deposits being burned off is at least partly to blame for the white smoke. first seafom treatments on a given high km/mi vehicle will normally produce quite a bot of white smoke, on a car that has been seafoam before, I get much less smoke. I swear by it, but know plenty of other mechanics that thinks its bs (they also think other proven products are bs, so what does that tell ya). my experience is... that it works well.

Had good experiences with sea foam.

1999 camry. POOR idle.

The car should smoke ALOT but will eventually burn off. Unless you caught the cat on fire

You don't dump it into the intake manifold it needs to be sprayed in. It helps some but generally if the more is clean so is intake manifold. If motor is gunked up so is intake manifold. It should be removed and cleaned.

I usually run seafoam in the gas tank on low fuel and this cleans injectors and valves . On a gunked up motor pour into engine and let it idle for 15-20 minutes. IDLE ONLY then shut it down dump oil and change filter and add fresh oil. Amazing what comes out. Don't do this n a known clean motor. No reason for it

Its usually the kids who use the stuff then jump in the car and leave smoke trails like the batmobile as they "pop vtec yo!"

but when used like the can says, it worked fine for me

go change your plugs.wires.cap and rotor and you'd feel a bigger difference than that crap.

LOL to the people who think it actually works.. unless you like smoke shows.

if used for the right and for the right reasons its great youll hear mixed reviews.
but it will not fix any mechanical problems so dont expect your car to **** rainbows and to the guys mechanic that said its to strong for honda motors, what makes our motors any different? lol. bull...

There are also several types of seafom additives and different way of applying to your motor my favorite is the gas tank.

if you do use it though the intake manifold into a vacuum line you should dilute it and be very carefull
