I have a car that needs a engine an I'm planning on doing a swap on it let me know if you have some feed back on any garage that you might have gotten your swap done at. What are the price is like, what kind of swap, did engine come with tranny or separately. How was the finish? Are you satisfied with the job? If you guy could help me out will some contacts to some of this garages thank.

 

There aren't to many reputable places that sell engines and do good work for a good price. Your best bet is to find a motor/tranny at HMO motors and a seperate shop to do the install. Maybe nastie garage? Prices might be a little high, but they'll get the job done. Better to get it done right the first time. I ended up buying a shitty "rebuilt" motor for a deal that was too good to be true, the shop sold me a motor with a fucked up head. Num nuts didn't change out the headbolts when they sent the head to the machine shop the first time around.

Yeah Moshi does have good prices on stuff.. Ask for George when you call, my warranty on my motor was up by like 2-3weeks and he was still willing to honor it. Good guys.
