95 honda prelude brake lamp light on
does anyone know what this can be? i did some searching and found it can be caused by a brake light out? witch id see. sensor bad? how do i know if its good or bad? or something to do with the third brake light?

You guys are getting confused, he said brake lamp light, not brake light, 2 different warning lights that do totally different things.
If the 2 on the body work, check the high mount, there are 2 bulbs in there and even if 1 is out you'll get that light since the system works on resistance. Next, check all FOUR bulbs to make sure they are the right ones for the car, even if they light up the amount of resistance in the circuit could be wrong causing the light. Last would be to check the sensors, they're in the tail lights, if you really need to go that far which they rarely fail I have the Honda ETM w/diagrams.
