Default 3 piece rim question

I got a set of work rsbeta and I recently bent a rim I have another set of betas also lol with no tires I was wondering can I just unbolt the face off the rim, and then swap the barrels switch the tires and be good or do I need to put some sorta sealent after? also do I have to take the bolts off in a certain order and then torque them back on or just remove and bolt back on? thanks

yes you need to use sealant; and just like torquing a wheel down properly you do need to work in star patterns around the wheel. also, don't forget to use blue loctite to seal the bolts into place

At work?

Anyways, as BoostedB16EJ stated, you'll need sealant in between the two parts of the barrel, as well as a good bead on the inside (the surface that faces the inside of the tire).

Manufacturers would argue that assembly bolts should not be reused after installation as they will "stretch" after being torqued down and will lose some strength once the torque has been released and then reapplied. I know that pretty much everyone reuses the bolts, but thought I'd throw my 2 cents in....
