Default help 09 Accord V6 cold start noise

Hello guys. I have 2009 Accord V6.

From last week, I've heard strange noise from a engine room.

It only happens for the first start after sitting all night and only with cold weather (below 50F).

I found the same problem from Youtube.

I posted the same thread in driveaccord.net. There are many Accord V6 owners, who have exactly same issue.

They are suspecting the power steering pump, the starting motor or the vacuum leak.
Since I can hear the sound around the engine, starter motor and throttle body (not from the drive belt), it may not from PS pump, alternator, timing belt, tensioner or AC pump.

Do you guys have any clue or solution?

could be the starter since it stops as soon as the engine IGNITES?

But i would suggest taking it to your dealer could have a Campaign or tsb for this.

My moms 2009 4 cylinder accord had a cold start whine they ended up replacing the oil pump free of charge since there was a open CAMPAIGN for this

With only my CPU speaker, I could not hear the noise very well. Does you noise stop as soon as it fires, or does it go away once the cars warms up. If it goes away after the car warms up, I would suspect the p/s pump as there is a upgrade on the oring on the return joint/elbow. Easy fix if that's the issue. If the noise goes away once it fires up, then it may be the starter just overrunning, a common sound with gear reduction starters

Thank you guys! The noise goes away once the engine fires up. I replaced the starter with a renewed parts. I cannot hear the noise anymore. I don't understand why some starer has, some does not have this noise. Anyway I am happy with the replaced starter.
