car dies and sputters just replaced the fuel pump

will a lose bolt on the fuel filter cause this to die n have trouble staying on as soon as i start the car or apply gas

it could, because the fuel pressure isnt building up in order ot support the leak. make sure you fully tighten those and check the tank or mating surfaces of the pump for leaks
