For those with skunk2 manifold for Gsr???
Just wondering if u all get some check engine for ur car...coz eversince i put the skunk2 manifold, i started to get the code from iac valve which is the one located behind the manifold...I was thinking that since im from chicago and its too cold here and i got an cold air intake, maybe the sensor is being expose to super cold weather and the sensor is not use to this...it only happens right after i cruise around for 10 mins on the highway or if i go WOT...but then on regular days when its not cold, its not happening...any feedback on this one is really appreciated...
if you're still running the P72 (GSR) ECU, then you'll throw a code. or am i totally we todd did on this IAC vlave sensor ****?
how bout we do this, BUMP!

im not throwing any codes..check your vacuum hoses and gaskets...did you get rid of the plastic canister that opens up the secondaries for your stock manifold?
i am not throwing any codes (the manifold was on the car when i got it) but it DOES make a strange ticking sound. can anyone speak to this or provide some enlightenment? its really getting on my nerves and i hope its not something bad.

The IAC is plugged in right? You might want to put a new gasket and filter on the IAC and see what that does for it. Also, make sure the coolant lines are run correctly.
Well I have herd that if you run your p72 ecu with skunk2 manifold then it will not work well or as good as with an ecu designed for the single butterfly manifold(p28, ect.)
You might just try cleaning your actual IACV. I just replaced mine, but I believe cleaning would've solved the problem. I was getting a CEL #14 which really really messed with my idle, but now it's all good.
