Default 92 Civic - rear springs are broken and engine won't go past 2K rpm

i just recently replaced my upper and lower control arm along with my motor mounts in my lsv sedan 1992 civic, after i drove it home felt ok didnt notice nothing wrong but i was offered advice to go to the alignment shop so i did....got it done now my car feels unsafe to drive it sways when accelerating ....we got back to the alignment shop i made him do it again and he noticed my rear springs both are broken....could this be throwing off my alignment/steering? i mean i did some google searching and it says it could so i thought i'd ask here ..i mean this is a honda/civic forum...

also yesterday after driving for a bit on the way home i stop to get air in the tire my car started stalling it wouldnt let me go past 2000th rpm i hate when a car f(cks up right after you get it back from the mechanics ....

...i even reset the ecu...taking the battery, unpluging the ecu.....so what do you think ismaking my car cut off stalling my car 1st and 2nd gear ...did reseting my ecu help? and will replacing the back springs help? thanks

First, on the springs...did you actually see them physically yourself in a broken state? And if not what shop did the alignment?

I had some shady alignment shops try to con me into more work. They loosened my lower ball joints and tried telling me my bearings where gone. I told em to shove it, went home and re-torqued them. Everything was fine after that.

I don't know what to tell you about the springs, I haven't ever seen OEM honda springs break...unless you have aftermarket? If they are broken then yes replace them. If they aren't broken make sure everything on the rear trailing arms is torqued down.

your springs are broken? I need to see a picutre of this.

I've seen a spring break, but it wasn't OEM. it also wasn't both of the rear springs.

Smoking car, towels in the cam sprockets, now broken springs?

Dooood what the hell? Are you a walking train wreck?
Id say get a rabbits foot or go see Miss Cleo, but neither will probably bring you good luck at this point.....
I need pictures to belive your car has two broken rear springs.
I really hope this isnt the case.
