Default DSM Injector Question

One of my DSM injectors came with a cracked/broken black top casing on the tip.. would this cause any problems? need to replace the black housing? or can I just it take it off?

Thanks guys
-Van

(btw, will be using the dsm's, resistor pack, intank pump, and the smc for b16a)

I would replace it, would hate to have any more of it break off and fall in to the combustion chamber

Send the set to Rich at http://www.cruzinperformance.com and he will test them and replace the pintle caps and all the O-rings. I sent mine to him and he does a great job and has really good customer service. It cost like $50 bux total. Here is the direct link:

Yes, I finally found a source for pintile caps. Actually you are not supposed to remove the dsm caps for cleaning and you can't buy them specifically for the dsm's in any brand that i've tried, but so many of them crack that I had to find something. These work great.

mine is okay.
mike, what's the turn-around on cleaning these injectors? i have the 1G from a laser. the problem is, all the intructions i've gathered on the site states that black/yellow wire connects to the black wires on the resistor box or black/yellow wire in-line resistors. well, my DSM 450cc injectors have only one that has a black yellow wire. how do i go by wiring this? the part number is:
B450L INP-009
if i can not use it, then i wouldnt bother getting it cleaned. thanks
