Default prelude ecu

just wondering if a us spec ecu will
work with a jdm h22. or is it better
to get a jdm one. Is there any real
huge difference between the two.

Default no real difference..

..b/w the two; however, the jdm ecu's have an annoying speed limiter, 110mph I believe, use the usdm p13 if you've got it.

ya thats rite speed limiter.. but it actually goes to 120... i know mine does.. (jdm p13.) cuts out @ 120 i think i would rather have a usdm for no speed limiter... but i hear the jdm has a little higher redline... dunno.. just get the cheapest one and chip it....

It's 118, and I'm pretty sure the redline is the same

I have a JDM ECU that is already reprogrammed to remove the speed governor. They are pretty identical as far as fuel and timing maps are concerned. The JDM Maps are slightly more aggressive for the Octane and Compression that they run in Japan. The Governor is really the only difference.
