Turbo civic idles 1500 after i hit boost.
Whats up HT i have a 92 civic si d16z6 bored .20 over forged pistons, rods, rings, blockguard , headstuds, stage 1 comp cam, 255 fuel pump, garrett turbo and 450 injectors and 3 bar map. I just had the car turbo tuned made 271 whp on 18lbs i have been working small bugs out like tailight issues and had a broken ground, but the cars iddle goes up and down a small amount at iddle and when i hit boost the car idles at 1500 and stays there. Is an iacv issue or sound more like a vacume leak id hate to start messing with this after a new tune and throw something off. Thanks for any help.
Its your tune doooooood!
You cant turbo a car and not tune it.
Start there im sure you will get your answers from a good reputable tuner.

Well when i picked the car up from the tuner it was fine, i didnt notice any idle problems but we tested it 1 pass down the rd and noticed it a day or 2 later. All i have messed with is tailight wiring and i reconnected 2 grounds, besides that i havnt messed with it. I think i will call back up to the tuner and see whats up.
Check the low-tech approach, by checking IACV, fast idle screw, and simple things like making sure there's enough coolant in the system (check overflow bottle) to get rid of erratic idle.
