Can I Use 1/8 Hard Line on Tial 50mm BOV

Default Can I Use 1/8 Hard Line on Tial 50mm BOV

I have push lock fittings on on my tial 50mm bov and was just wondering if the 1/8 hard line will work seeing how tial calls for 1/4. thanks

It's a little small. And also If by hardline you mean aluminum tubing with a flare on the end, they can leak.

from what i was told the 1/8 will work its just small vacuum reference. i upgraded from 1/8 to 1/4 just to be safe. just upgrade your fittings and line.

hard lines are a cleaner tighter look but i wouldn't trust a hard vacuum, rubber or silicone hose is much simpler and gives you some flex in the line...

If you do go hard line (my guess would be for aesthetics?) then consider cutting out a few inches in the middle somewhere and adding rubber line. This will allow someplace for the line to move for vibration and flex.

OP if you are looking for "different looks for Pneumatic lines" try any Hydraulic or air controls warehouse they will sell out right. A place called Applied Controls has just about every color, size of lines you could want. steel push lock fittings, aka chrome look good and are cheap.
