01-05 front end conversion bulkhead question??
I am planning on doing the front end swap to the 04-05 front end on my 01. i read the diy on 7th gen and was wondering about the bulkheads that the guy says to get. From the looks of the honda websites (bkhonda etc etc) it looks like both the tabs and the bulkhead parts are exactly the same on the diagrams. Can someone clear this up for me?? I don't want to have to buy these things if they are not necessary. I've read all the threads regarding this as I can and cannot come with a clear answer.
Thanks

Here's an old thread about it, with a quote from someone whom I believe had done the conversion.

"The rad support is optional...You can get away with bending the mounting tab on the outside of the headlights but I don't recommend it. You can indeed drill out the headlight support portion of the rad support and bolt up the 04-05 style headlight bulkhead in place. The only other thing is the fender bolt closest to the headlight will have to be relocated no matter what. Other then that pretty straight forward. I did mine in about 8 hours taking it at a nice easy pace."
With this being said, is the bulkhead (the headlight brackets) different then? The pictures in the diagrams just look identical. I will be bending and drill the stock rad support as I don't have access to a welder.
