Default 98 LX - O2 sensor code after replacing header and extending O2 sensor wires

So i have a 98 lx with a y7 in it, I replaced the stock exhaust manifold withe the cat with a ebay 4-2-1 header and dp, I had to extend the secondary o2 sensor to reach the end of the dp and i also added spark plug non foulers to not pull a cel for the deleted cat converter, Now it seems like every once in awhile my car will start running like ****, Bogging down while cruising, But if you hit the gas pedal it stops for a moment, Sometimes it dies while at idle also, It doesnt do it often enough to daignose the problem, The o2 sensors are now in different spots because of the swaping of the header, about every 2 days i get i cel code 1, But i reset the ecu and itll go away for two days, Can anyone help me get my car running normal again?

Where did you put the primary 02 on the new header?

I'm assuming you got one of these eBay specials?

The problem with using that one bung on the left most collector is that your 02 is only monitoring one cylinder when it should be monitoring all 4 like the factory manifold. Use the bung at the end of the collector for the primary 02 and maybe you can get away with using the secondary 02 in the left most bung.

So you are saying to reverse the o2 sensors? are the sensors themselves the same? could i just switch plugs?

The sensors are the same I'm saying that having the primary 02 in that first location is not good. Is code 1 all you are getting?

Yes that's the only code I'm getting. What should I do?
