Hi lads, have a 99 english vtec civic there

the car wont shut off, dash lights are staying on and car stays running

ignition switch is fine

any ideas what it could be

 

How do you know the ignition switch is fine?

Has the wiring been altered? Please give background and details.

 

I had a similar thing happen to me when I forgot to hook up the clock. If I remember correctly the hazard switch managed to shut the car off. Did this just happen all of the sudden?

 

We disconnected the ignition switch from the fuse board and the car stays running, we tried turning off the car with the ignition switch and no joy

It just happened all of a sudden..were totally lost with this one

 

Does your car have an alarm system? Or kill switch?
