1992 Accord EX Is My Ingition Switch Bad
Any help please.
From the second key position from off to (ACC) I have no instrument cluster lights showing, however, continue to third position (starting) the lights come on and car turns over but wont run.
Could this be a bas relay or the Ignition switch it self?
Thx

If you have no dash lights in the acc position then yeah it's likely the ignition switch is bad.
Fortunately it's not really hard to replace. You just pull the lower steering cover and the under dash cover and then just disconnect the connector in the dash fuse assembly and the 6mm head bolt that holds the switch to the steering column.
Make sure to disconnect the negative battery cable because the ignition switch is always hot at the solder joints.
If you have an aftermarket alarm or something done to the ignition switch then it would be wise to have a car stereo alarm shop replace it.
