Default 2002 Civic Si - No Compression/Has Spark and Fuel

I bought an EP3 that has been parked for almost 2 years now. Owner messed up the rocker assembly and bought one off a 2004 Si. Everything is installed, timing was set, theres spark, and fuel. The only thing im not getting is compression, valvetrain moves while I spin the crankshaft, NO START

Could it be that the piston rings are fried and may need to put some oil to free them up over night?

When you put the key to on does the engine crank over on its own?

I just read you saying when you spin the crankshaft... If so did you do a compression test to the engine?

It turns over, but no start. You can hear it doesnt have any compression. Car was sitting for about 2 years I think the rings are stuck. Just want to know if anyone has had this issue and having to put some mystery oil into the cylinders overnight to soak the rings to open up.

do a cylinder leak down test on it. then listen to see where the air is escaping from, if it is coming from the in intake or exhaust i would check out the head. if its coming from the crankcase more then likely it would be worn piston rings or cylinder walls. you mentioned he replace the rocker assembly so it may be possible that valves are not adjust correctly and not closing all the way.
