Car started giving me issues a week ago. The car seems to run fine but then all of a sudden turns off while running and then doesn't always want to start up again. Took it to the mechanics and he couldn't find anything wrong with it. He cleaned the throttle body but he still didn't see anything wrong with the car. Yesterday and today the car didn't wanna start. I tried 5 times and waiting a few minutes in between, it started but then I got down the block and the car stopped again. Then it didn't wanna start again. Thankfully got home eventually and car seems to idle up and down to 1.5 then back to 1. !!!Please Help!!!!

 

Test the coil and ICM.

 

Ignition switch.
Main relay also.

 

It could be the ignition coil. It's a similar symptom to my civic, when the coil was about to go.

 

I had the same issue when my main relay was going bad. Touch up the solder joints with an iron and you'll be golden
