What size drag radials should i use for all motor setup?
Hey guys!! need some help !
about to purchase drag radials for an upcoming event - i would go slicks but certain events dont allow them and drag radials can be used on the street to get to events if need be etc etc - just less hassles...
car is a H22 eg hatch
h series tranny
rim size 15/16 most prob 15
close to 180hp
revving to 8000rpm
hopefully the pros here can point me in the right direction
im thinking 26x9 - 235/60/15
or 23/8 205/50/15

Throw on some Mickey Thompson ET Streets 205/50. Start at around 12 psi in them and lower them down little by little to see if you find a sweet spot.. I couldn't with my boosted hatch and had to go to slicks.
MT Et streets 205/50. I would start at 22psi and work your way down from there. Actually 21 psi works for me. Too low of a pressure and the center of the tire doesn't contact well, actually losing traction.
i usually do like 6k launches lol is that still ok?
obviously wheel spin all of 1st and all of 2nd gear, chirps 3rd and 4th.
