Default wheel well lining?

So i bought a 96 EX Coupe about 3 months ago. It needed a lot of work and has pretty much had a full makeover! when i got the car in the front both the fender linings were all ripped up and hanging down and would rub on the tires! i ripped both of them off. I am wondering if anyone else is currently running without these and what would be the pros and cons of this? I am also wondering for those of you that are tucking tire do you ever run into the issue or rubbing your tires on the rubber on the inside?

Cons: You'll get your door hinges covered in crud, your engine bay and surrounding area will also be much more dirty.

Pros: Weight reduction yo!

No but I would try to keep them there if you can. They're obviously there for a reason ya know?

EDIT: From my knowledge, people who slam their rides usually custom the wheel liner so that it's cut out where the tire would be and they leave the rest there so that they're sh*t doesn't get all cruddy.

Remove them if you are rolling your fenders...
If not get a new set.
Also reduces road noise.

Tires will toss water between the fender and bumper. Looks soo ugly.

Get new ones when you can, if you want to. You don't have them, but they are nice to have.

Where would the best place be to get some new ones along with the clips or screws to hold it in?
