So heres a little info. I have a 2000 integra ls that im pulling the motor out of and putting into my 95 civic hatch. By some research i was doing i believe this motor is obd2b. I got a 2000-2001 integra ecu off ebay. And when i was looking for a obd1-obd2 jumper harness i read something on rywire that if im using a usdm ecu im going to have problems because of the ingnition transponder wont match up and wont start. And they say to use a differant ecu. My questions are can i bypass this any way and or what differant ecus can i use if i run into this problem?

 

Anybody? Ive been reading i was wondering can i jist bist of the imobolizer chip off or can i just use a obd1 ecu?

 

Use your obd2 harness plug it into the towers and use a obd1 p75 and your done.

Yes sir. Only need a jumper harness if you want to run a obd2 ecu
