would anyone know if i would have to bang my firewall using a H2B kit?

I haven't gotten that far yet...but thanks for the input...I'm tryin to make my tranny sit flush with the qsd kit..it has a little gap for some reason

That's what I'm have to do when I get home...idk I might just sell the h22a4 n get the h23 vtec...what y'all think?

try calling QSD and asking them about it? looks like the gap is bigger on the bottom of the block.. try taking it off and putting it back together.

and i think u should just keep the h22a4. the .1 L wont make that much of a difference imo.

my f20b is 2.0. about 7-10 lbs less torque than your h22a4 but same hp. i dont mind it..

Almost everyone runs into that problem, you need to wiggle it in together with some good force. Also is that a SH block?

Yea mind as well keep it...how's you like your f20b so far? Any bolt ons?

I'm pretty sure you can't use the sh block with the h2b maybe that's why your having problems. But call them up or email to make sure.

"Our adapter plate will bolt up to any H-series engine. However, the newer SH blocks used with the ATTS transmission were designed with a different block casting. The rear of the block is completely different and does not work with our B-series intermediate adapter. It is possible to do, but you will have to weld the core mounts onto the block. It's been done, and will work."

I think that post is referring to the intermidte shaft adapter that bolts to the back of the block...I'm talking about the tranny adapter.

none yet. complete stock motor. the f20b comes withs type s cams already. i have full type r piping and muffler. gonna redo mysuspension after i get the car running. motor mounts or inserts should be mandatory for u as well. i got inserts for now .

What chassis is your swap going in to? And yeah i got innovative mounts the first thing i got....I've been lagging on my build so I'm wait till this weekend and see how thing goes...hopefully it's not gonna rain...

yah i been lagging on ordering from seth @ QSD but im heading to my nearest wells fargo during my lunch break ..

mines going into a 1994 integra GSR. coupe.
