ive bought a new slave cylinder bolted it on connected the lines but still my clutch wont get any stiffer it just falls to the floor when i pump it fluid does come out the bleeder screw but after i tighten it up i pump and pump and it never stiffens up ??? idk wtf to do , maybe im just slow and am doing something wrong ? at least i hope so cause that wont cost me any money ..... think my master cylinder is faulty ??
When you bleed your clutch line, what steps do you take? Its best done with 2 people, to avoid any air in the line.
I go with the following procedure:
1. Fill reservoir with DOT3.
2. Place cap on reservoir.
3. Cycle clutch pedal to build up some pressure.
4. Depress clutch pedal, and hold down.
5. Open bleed valve on slave cylinder.
6. Close bleed valve on slave cylinder.
7. Retract clutch pedal.
8. Replace fluid in reservoir.
9. Repeat steps 1-8, until stream of fluid exiting slave cylinder is consistent.
If you're retracting the clutch pedal before closing the slave cylinder, you're not going to be clearing much air out of the line.

i dont think i should b having this many problems it seemed like a simple procedure i think im gunna have to call the old man to come down and check it out
You don't feel any pressure on the slave cylinder side, after pumping the clutch? Then there's either a ton of air in the lines, or the master cylinder isn't creating any pressure.
