does any body know a away to make the tranny cable and throttle cable to work on a 97 accord auto. i bought a skunk2 alpha series 68mm tb i already knew that we were going to have to figure something out but i figured i would ask b4 we tried to put something togther thanks......motor in the car is a jdm f20b just a heads up why im doing it
What year and model is the tranny & throttle cables you're trying to install? You can use a 97-01 Prelude throttle cable, fits like a glove and there's no extra slack like the F22 stock throttle cable.
as far as the throttle cable im using the throttle body and throttle cable off my old motor 97 f22b2(nonvtec)....tranny has been installed already...its just on the skunk 2 throttle body im only going to be able to install one pulley for the cables so i have to find out away to merge them or something...hope i didnt confuse anybody.
What I am hearing is: There are three cables going to a stock CD5 throttle body, the one to the inside pedal, the one to the transmission, and the one to the cruise control. The cruise control is not problem. It bolts to the throttle body. The one to the trans is a problem. It and the inside pedal cable are both connect to the same shaft. The Skunk throttle body has only one place to connect a cable, the stock body has two. I have been wondering about this myself and have not really found a solution. If the car was a manual trans, no problem.

Yeah, me too.
Maybe, ... I could get another CD5 throttle body, take out the shaft and swap it into a Skunk body? That's a solution I would like to avoid. Don't even know if it would fit properly.
