is a zc block with a z6 head a good combo? i've heard from a couple friends it is but im just looking to see if i should keep what i got.

is it strong power wise? i had a z6 in my hatch until the accident and it was pretty quick. i know people like the zc's but im new to the whole mini me swap. and its a y8 head, my bad.

 

and its got a skunk 2 intake manifold, b series throttle body, lightened flywheel and aftermarket clutch, lightened pulleys

 

a zc is just a jdm version of a z6. So if you have ever owned or been in a car with a d16z6 thats what you can compare it to..

 

Adding these will make a difference from stock also.. And also like what was posted earlier, what kind of car is it going in?

 

There is more than one version ZC.

 

your right there is the non vtec sohc, vtec sohc, non vtec dohc! I own two of the three. Just can't find a DOHC ZC for a good price!

 

There's at least 8 different versions.

I have the non vtec sohc and was curious about a vtec head swap. Definitely will be staying tuned for this one! I've read that the one I have is pushing about 138 or so horses. Can't imagine this in a cx eg hatch
