Icon3 '04 accord overheating and high idle issues! Need help ASAP!

Last weekend I got into a car accident bending up my front hood along with the radiator. After inspecting I saw there is a hole on the top right with the bolt use to be. I used jb weld to seal it and replaced the anti freeze. The temp would sky rocket to h when the seal was broken so I fixes that first, check. Now with the high idle(fluctuating idle) I thought it would be best to add tranny fluid, did that. Now I think driving it to get these minor repairs I think something internally has happened, something I can't see to the naked eye. Yes the check engine light is on, but was on before but now is. So when I first turn it on the idle is consistent at about 1000 rpm, temp is cool as well, then after awhile the car will heat up to its normal sustained temp at about 3/4 to half way and then the rough idle will start. Will rev high at about 3000 then dropped back down to 1000-2000 and just keep going up and down as if I was revving the engine myself. When I go to move it to see how it drives you can feel the car jerk a little bit, seem to have lost some acceleration as well, car heats up more and a little more and somehow will brake the seal and now I back at square one. Somebody please do you have any idea what the cause of my rough idle and high heat is? I know it started from the radiator.

Dude, you can’t hold your car together with duct tape and glue. Just not gonna hold things together in the long run. Here is my suggestion:

1) Get a code reader or go to Auto Zone to have them scan your vehicle. Yes, the CEL was on before, but you might have new codes and we need to see what the old codes were too.
2) Get the radiator fixed right. Either take out the old one and send it out to a radiator shop or depending on how many miles on the old radiator, perhaps just get a new one.
3) As for the idle, it sounds like a vacuum hose that came lose, but could easily be related to the CEL.

The above issues are all interrelated. You can’t really fix one without fixing them all.
