does an f22b1 rotate clockwise or counter clockwise?

 

Rotate the F22b1 counterclockwise (the same as the F22A).

 

I think the only honda 4 cylinders that rotate clockwise is the K and f20c

 

Counter clockwise. F20c F22c and K series are only clockwise rotation Honda 4 cyl engines to my knowledge.

 

ok, so does that make the crank pulley bolt standard or reverse thread?

 

standard. i cannot think of anything reverse threaded on a Honda

doing a timing belt on a friends 96 accord tomorrow while he replaces the roof on my garage. works for me

barely started tearing into the past couple days due to rain and such. I had no clue some of the honda 4bangers had balance shafts lol.

 

sweet bargain, but yea there are balance shafts. Good luck and I'm sure you know there's a big timing belt thread in the faq.

 

sounds like you're having problems with the crank bolt and are thinking of using the starter trick. am i rite?
