Post Full D16Y8 NA Build

Ok so im trading my project 96 hatch for a 97 ex coupe. This is what i have decided would be the best for me not for all of you but best for me. I am going full N/A with BCS3 camshaft, high compression p29/pm7 pistons, aem fuel rail & fuel pressure regulator, 255lph pump, but now this is where im falling short. what TB, IM, valvetrain, and intake should I use? Im going to be running 93 oct and using a p28 chipped from speed innovations or should i go with AEM S2 that will have a base tune already for what work will be done then ill take it to dyno (anyone know where to go in PIT PA). The main reason swap ecu or just swap and pass without taking everthing apart. Please dont say swap or turbo because im going NA and have full intentions on staying NA. also i will not be milling the block at all just keeping that stock 75mm.

I would like to make this a write up so this is going to be a process. plus what order would be recommended in installing these parts.

Thank you guys at HT.

If that's the way you're going I'd advise you to check out the All Motor section. There's a long running thread for the N/A SOHC. No new ground being broken here so that would be where you would find the better info.

unless your running race/track/scca setup --whats the goal behind staying NA sohc?

just to be different? I just want to throw out the idea on the table. Just reading your list of parts so far, your going to be way over the cost of a swap and your most likely looking at the same power.

Its your money, your time, and whatever you want to do. However the reason swaps are so popular is simply the bang for your buck. If it was more powerful, more cost effective, etc people would be building NA setups.

It costs alot of money, time, and planning to make power off of a sohc NA. It surely can be done, however it also requires you have deep pockets. Im sure you have your reasons, but I think you should really put pad to pen and explore your options.

You want to keep stock sleeves, and you don't want to mill, but you want to make power?

Uh...good luck on that.

ok so the more i looked it seems that yinz were right i wanted to do more number crunching before posting back. So if you have to choose an OBD2a tuner which would you choose. AEM EMS S2 ; AEM F/IC ; or E-manager. for a turbo'd d setup. The big thing is that i cant find googled like a mad man and cannot find tuners for anywhere in my area.

I'm from the area and if you get that far I can point you in the right direction. A Greddy single cam turbo setup is a pretty cheap 225hp that's reliable. I think they are 100% plug n play too the tune comes with it.
