Issues Starting (Tried Almost Everything)
I figured I would post this over here as there are more visitors over here.
Hey guys I'm a little lost, been trying to get my car to start from quite some time. I got it started after what I thought was a terribly off tune but happened to be crossed Spark plug wires
I had a vacuum leak making a horrendous noise so I took off my IM and re-sealed it with HondaBond and now it is acting as though the main relay is dead but I still have fuel pressure.
Every time a prime the fuel pump the car will start and head towards 1300 ish RPM then stall out.
Everything I have seen indicated a bad Main Relay but I have never experienced this problem before in the cars life. I am wondering if anyone has had this happen to them, or know why this is happening all of the sudden. The FPR shows 43.5 PSI after prime and then 37-40 as the engine catches and pulls vacuum, expected, but then the car dies off after it catches.
Plugs are good.
I think its the main relay but it looks ok, does this video illustrate a bad main relay?
Edit: Relay ended up not being the issue

Thanks
Update :
Holy cow I have tried everything. New Master relay, swapped known working distributor, checked all plug wires, tried with and without IACV plugged in.
Noticed that old plug in CYL 1 was darker than the rest. Moved Grounds. New harness From 2JZ, P28 Neptune RTP P28 map.
Then when checking for spark some weird **** happened, the car started and ran shittily on 3 cylinder ONLY when there was a clean ground between the VC and the sparkplug.
I was under the impression that the VC was isolated.
Electrical is as follows.
Battery - to Sanded down frame rail where battery tray normally bolts
T-Stat Housing with Harness ground to - battery terminal 4 gauge
Battery + to Starter 0 Gauge
Starter to Fusebox 4 Gauge
Alternator to Fusebox 4 gauge
I'm confused as hell. Hope someone can chime in.
